1.71 Update

NoisePro ® [All Models]

Updates

  • Serial Communication
Added serial communications commands to lock user setups to these configurations or any other.
  • Language Translations
Brought language translations up to date.
  • Run Flag
Corrected "run flag" in firmware that was mapped to the same location as "custom name 1".
  • Impulse Delay
Added a 20 second delay after power-up whenever the unit is set for Impulse time response. This allows time for the detector to decay to ambient noise levels before collecting data. Display indicates "IMPULSE RESPONSE SETUP" and counts down to zero from 20 while this is happening. Customers using the auto-on feature and Impulse time constant will experience a 20 second delayed start in data collection.

1.60 Update

NoisePro ® [All Models]

  • Displayed Data Errors

1.58 Update

NoisePro ® [All Models]

  • Battery Removal Issue
    [Severity: High]
Accomplishes orderly shutdown of unit if the battery power is removed during a study. Insures that only the current running study is lost and all previous studies remain intact.
  • Low Battery Issue
    [Severity: Medium]
Prevents studies from starting when in a low battery condition. Also, adds indicators in QSP and printouts to indicate if unit turns off due to low battery condition.
  • Microphone Removal Detection
    [Severity: Medium]
Detects removal of microphone during a study and indicates this event in both QSP and printouts.
  • Studies with a Length of Zero Time
    [Severity: Low]
Prevents user from creating sessions or studies that have a duration of zero time.

1.57 Update
  • NoisePro DL ®
    [Severity: None]
Logging Slow Max when Impulse time constant selected. Should be disabled as modes incompatible.
  • NoisePro ® [All Models]
    [Severity: Low]
Corrected issues with printing reports when set for Impulse mode. Did not print Time Constant and printed Fast Max, not Impulse Max.

1.55 Update
  • Calibration Problem
    [Severity: Medium]
Corrected a pre and post calibration problem. If the instrument is set in the low range and then calibrated the unit would give a low calibration reading due to the unit calculating the SPL value as if it were set to the high range.
  • Verbiage Error
    [Severity: Low]
Changed verbiage in the Italian calibration screens.

1.54 Update
  • NoisePro DL ® Problem
    [Severity: Low]
Corrected issue with the NoisePro DL [ONLY] which logged two dosimeters even if only one enabled.

  • Enhancements:
    [Severity: None]
    Display shows current study number.
    Printout shows dosimeter model.

1.53 Update
  • Auto On Problem
    [Severity: High]
Corrected unreliable Auto-On function. It would turn on but not necessarily go into Run mode.

  • Lavg/Leq Problem
    [Severity: High]
Corrected a problem where Lavg or Leq was sometimes logged at twice it’s value. This would be seen in a 5dB or 3dB increase respectively when logging high values or using longer logging intervals.

  • QuestSuite Professional Problem
    [Severity: Medium]
Corrected a problem when using QuestSuite Professional to set up the NoisePro. QSP did not reliably set up the dosimeters range and weighting.
